Mini Team Leadership
We are so proud to announce 3 of our incredible Juniors, Aurora, Bella, and Nykole will be stepping into this leadership role created just for them, for the 2025-2026! Their responsibility, empathy, and talent make them the perfect mentors for our little dancers, and we trust them wholeheartedly with our Minis. We can’t wait to see the amazing things they accomplish and the love and guidance they bring to our brand new mini ambassador team! !

Pin It Forward Award
CONGRATULATIONS to our Junior Captain Ava!!
She won the Pin It Forward Award and pinned it forward to her teammate Nykole. We approve these messages!
This UDA Honor is in Recognition of Standout Qualities for dancers who exemplify leadership, spirit, commitment, kindness, and motivation.
Paying it Forward: The unique aspect of the award is that a UDA staffer initially presents a pin to a camper demonstrating these qualities. The recipient then has the responsibility to "pay it forward" by awarding the same pin to another deserving camper during the camp who embodies similar positive traits.
The intent is to Inspire and Connect Dancers fostering a sense of community and appreciation among the team and encouraging them to recognize and celebrate the positive actions of their peers.
We are so proud to acknowledge that BOTH of these girls were independently called out and recognized by our two professional dance instructors as great examples and we cant wait to see how they continue to pin it forward this year!
All American Athlete Winners
ALL AMERICAN! DFE is so very proud to announce we have 6 All American UDA Athlete recipients!!! We are excited for them the revel in their upcoming dance year with this honor and cant wait to see where their dance journeys lead.
The All-American award from (UDA) is a prestigious recognition for individual dancers who demonstrate exceptional skills and leadership at UDA summer camps..
How it works:
Nomination: Directors nominated dancers to audition, UDA instructors evaluate the candidates during the tryout, and those selected as All-Americans are announced at the camp's final awards ceremony.
Recognition:
All-American dancers receive a certificate, medal, and are invited to participate in Varsity events, in London, Rome, Hawaii, Disney and more!!
Prestige:
The All-American award is a significant accomplishment, can be seen as a "Tier 1 or 2" achievement, and can be a positive addition to college applications. Tier 1 and 2 are the highest tier, and refers to national/regional-level achievements, which can go a long way towards setting you apart from other applicants who may have similar grades and test scores. Of course, no single credential will get you into college on its own, especially at more selective schools, but having a Tier 1 or 2 activity is certainly a big plus.
Elite Dancers:
Being named a UDA All-American signifies that a dancer is among the best in their region or even nationally.
TEAM WINS
Our dancers received all blue ribbons during their evaluations! They were evaluated on their Jazz and Hip Hop routines. Because they received perfect scores, they were awarded a trophy for their top honors. They let it all Geaux on the Dance Fleur!
DFE is now officially credentialed with UDA and can attend UDA competitions if we chose.
Our biggest win is our girls who continue to push themselves, try new things, and strive to be their very best. We LOVE these dancers and as always it is an honor that they choose US to be a part of their dance journey.

We have been a part of DFE for just one year, and it has become the family we didn't know we needed. The directors do everything they can to help us feel loved and supported and to ensure we have the best of the best. My husband even has a chance to be a part of the team by offering his support behind the scenes so that the myself, my daughter, and the team can be stress free and enjoy doing what we love to do!
